CABBONE SPECIFICATIONS

The Cabbone is a guitar amp speaker cabinet switcher that enables the user to toggle between two cabinets using one head. To ensure safety with both solid state and tube amplifiers, switching is performed using a series of high-power relays that are microprocessor controlled in a delayed fashion with a slight overlap. The audio circuit is essentially a solid copper wire which will have no effect in terms of distortion or artifact. And although the Cabbone is rated at 100 watts RMS, short term peak power transients will not harm it. This power limit is base do the power handling capacity of the relays. Should greater power handling be required, larger relays may be special ordered to enable 300 watt RMS amps to be used.
