North-Star™ Specifications

The North-Star is a high-performance overdrive and power booster that is versatile enough for a wide variety of musical styles. A 14-gauge steel enclosure houses Class-A circuitry, with a military-spec double-sided PCB, heavy-duty 6-pole switches and gold-contact sealed relays. The North-Star is a true-bypass switcher, to ensure that your pure tone is retained when not in use - as though your guitar were plugged directly into your amplifier. The overdrive circuit features Drive, Tone and Level controls, as well as a Range switch to boost or cut high frequency content, allowing for full customization of the tone to suit your guitar and amp. A clean Boost is equipped with up to +24dB of gain, which is engaged via a separate footswitch, effectively making the North-Star two pedals in one. A built in effects loop adds further functionality, automatically activating when the Boost footswitch is engaged.
